Inspector

Position Summary

Responsible for effectively and efficiently inspecting and packaging products per the work order instructions. Responsible for adhering to production schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lifting, folding, cleaning, and packaging product.
• Verifying correct measurements per work order.
• Verifying products have no blemishes, tears, or misplaced items.
• Verifying material is correct per the work order.
• Following procedures to ensure uniformity.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to recognize and take advantage of opportunities to save both labor costs and material costs.
• Will be responsible for upkeep and maintaining work area to stay within 5S standards set by the company.
• Must be willing and able to cross-train to learn various positions.
• Cutting when needed for material production.
• Measuring and verifying correct placements for windows, grommet strips, etc.
• Lifting products up to 50lbs single lifting and 50+lbs as a team lift.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Strong measuring tape reading skills.
• Strong rudimentary math skills.
• Ability to read diagrams and production drawings.
• Ability to differentiate in between shade variations.

Required Education/Experience

• Basic High School Degree or GED

This position is a production floor position. While performing the job:
